About Heffley Lake
Heffley Lake is located approximately 30 minutes north east of the city of Kamloops. This lake sits alongside Heffley-Louis Creek Road. There are a number of waterfront properties along Heffley Lake and a few that are on the much smaller Little Heffley Lake.
Heffley Lake is quite popular with those who want to have a home or recreational property close to Sun Peaks resort while also enjoying lake life in the warmer months. Heffley Lake is 20 minutes from Sun Peaks Resort. Little Heffley Lake does not permit motorized boats as it is quite small, it is best for fishing, swimming, paddling and ice fishing in the winter months. Heffley Lake does permit water sports and is a popular place to enjoy powerboat activities.
Knouff Lake (aka Sullivan Lake) is also in the Heffley region. It is located 20 minutes from Heffley-Louis Creek Road. Knouff Lake is a smaller fishing lake with restrictions for motor size on the lake.
