About Chase

Chase is a small town located in the Shuswap region of BC. It is located in the interior, about halfway between Kamloops and Salmon Arm. The town is situated on the shores of Little Shuswap Lake and is surrounded by forests and mountains. Chase is known for its recreational opportunities, including fishing, hiking, and boating. The town also has a small museum, a community center, grocery store and several local shops and restaurants. The population of Chase is around 3,000 people.

Little Shuswap Lake is a large lake is located in Chase and is part of the Shuswap Lake system, which also includes the larger Shuswap Lake and several smaller lakes. The lake is known for its clear, blue waters and is a popular destination for boating, fishing, and swimming. The surrounding area is home to a variety of wildlife, including bald eagles, ospreys, and a variety of fish species. Turtle Valley is a rural community located about 17 minutes from Chase to the south. You will find a number of acreage properties in this area. The area is named after the numerous turtle fossils that have been found in the area. The community is home to a variety of recreational activities, including hiking, fishing, and horseback riding. The area is also home to a number of small lakes, forests, and rolling hills. The population of Turtle Valley is relatively small, with fewer than 300 residents.
